SkyPoint sits 77-storeys high, atop one of Australia’s tallest buildings; Q1, and overlooks the scenic coastline from Byron Bay in the South through to Stradbroke Island in the north. The 360° views from the heart of Surfers Paradise extend down to the New South Wales border and out to the magnificent lush Gold Coast Hinterland. SkyPoint is one of Queensland’s most iconic tourist attractions because it gives every visitor, regardless of age, nationality or physical ability a bird’s eye view of the ‘Famous for Fun’ Gold Coast from their vantage point 230 metres above Surfers Paradise Beach.
SkyPoint Observation Deck
SkyPoint Observation Deck is located on Levels 77 and 78 of the Q1 Building in Surfers Paradise. It is Queensland’s only Observation Deck and Australia’s only beachside Observation Deck and offers visitors, of all ages, the fastest way to see the entire Gold Coast and beyond.
Entry to SkyPoint Observation Deck takes guests to level 77 in less than 43 seconds in one of Australia’s fastest elevators. Once there, guests can spend as much time as they like in air-conditioned comfort enjoying 360 degree views of the region through floor to ceiling glass windows. Guests can sit back, relax and grab a bite to eat from the licensed Seventy7 Cafe & Bar and enjoy the views.
Seventy7 Café + Bar
Enjoy a relaxed beachside dining experience like no other on the Gold Coast at Seventy7 Café + Bar. Located on the SkyPoint Observation Deck, Seventy7 Café + Bar offers a menu that is attractive as its 360° views.
Guests can begin their day with a delicious hot buffet breakfast or al a carte option or enjoy a lunchtime treat from the all-day dining menu including SkyPoint’s signature share platters. Why go anywhere else when you can dine in a café with a one of a kind view, perfect for any occasion.
SkyPoint Events
SkyPoint is the Gold Coast’s highest, most unique conferencing and events venue and is a versatile and inspiring venue that can be easily tailored to suit a range of events. Level 77 of SkyPoint is the perfect venue for pre-dinner cocktail and social functions or for exclusive use for large corporate events. It can cater for up to 380 guests and offers spectacular 360° views of the Gold Coast.
SkyPoint’s private function room is located on Level 78 and offers spectacular uninterrupted views ranging from the famous coastline to the hinterland and beyond. SkyPoint’s meeting facilities on Level 2 include an executive boardroom and a grand ballroom that converts into three function rooms for smaller, intimate events. SkyPoint Conference Centre features an outdoor terrace and pre-function area that can cater for up 400 guests.
